The ProChem® II is primarily used for tank and sewer cleaning, handling solid and liquid hazardous substances or for decontamination work and hazardous goods operations. Elasticated sleeves and legs and an elasticated waist ensure an optimum fit and the generously cut crotch area provides optimum freedom of movement. The horizontal entry at the back with a protected wrap-around panel and Velcro fastener provides a tight seal. A butyl face seal provides an optimum seal on the outside of full face masks.
The suit is made from Tychem C, which is a plastic-coated, high-performance material with a high level of robustness. It offers protection against many inorganic chemicals and also protects against contamination by radioactive particles. It is also antistatic.
Furthermore, the suit is equipped with ergonomic boot socks for a more comfortable fit, as well as better protection of the feet inside the shoes and a drip edge for safe draining of liquids.
Firmly attached silicone-free KCL Camatril 730 gloves made of nitrile round off the suit. The gloves offer good abrasion, puncture and cut resistance and are resistant to acids, alkalis, long-chain alcohols and aliphatic and alicyclic hydrocarbons.
