The ProChem® III full protective coverall is operated with blower respiratory protection (PAPR unit), which is worn contamination-free under the coverall. The double cover panel of the front entry is closed with a wrap-around panel. Elasticated sleeves and legs and an elasticated waist ensure an optimum fit and the generously cut crotch area provides optimum freedom of movement. The panoramic visor provides perfect all-round visibility and offers sufficient space for helmets or communication systems. The blower enables long operations and good air distribution through exhalation valves.
The suit is made from Tychem F, which is a lightweight, resistant material and provides a high barrier against the permeation of a wide range of chemicals and protects the wearer from numerous organic and highly concentrated inorganic chemicals. It is also antistatic.
Furthermore, the suit is equipped with ergonomic boot socks for a more comfortable fit, as well as better protection of the feet inside the shoes, a drip edge for safe draining of liquids and reinforced material in the elbow and knee area for increased protection in the highly stressed joint area.
